I’m actually building a Network Marketing Business.

That’s right. I’m not just a wanna be guru trainer type who calls herself an expert in teaching ‘attraction marketing’ who spends her day on Twitter and Facebook chattering away… talking up a storm about what Im an expert in.

Whoa – I haven’t even produced a good quirky video in awhile to tell you how super cool I am.

Intead, I’m actually building a Network Marketing business.

And its not a ‘shovels’ business either…  know what Im sayin? Shovels are smart- and I sell those too- but I’m working with a company that has products that have real value in the marketplace beyond the ‘home based business buyers’ market.

I’m (gasp) on the phone with prospects who have contacted me about my business. I’m qualifying them and helping those who I’d like to work with to make the decision to start their business with our rock-solid , yet incredibly progressive company.  I’m then doing Success Training for those folks – making sure they have the Foundation of the ViSalus Academy.  That training has a permanent place on my desktop. I’m thrilled to say that I help a new entrepreneur work their way through that training every day – sometimes more than one new entrepreneur a day.

I’m seeing the results of my work – watching the leaders emerge. Learning to recognize who the 30%ers, 60%ers and 100%ers are – and spending time with them accordingly.  I’m watching duplication happen, and finally leverage.  True residuals building.  Its quite awesome.

Sure, I still have a nice income from my automated affiliate income – the links I’ve weaved into my content over the years serve me well.  But I am very much aware that that is seed money – it isn’t the big picture. I don’t get paid residually on those sales… there are no leaders to develop that can produce millions.  I know where to FOCUS.

My psychological input – my energy – is not on the front end sale. Its shifted. I know the residual income dream is alive and well and I am grabbing ahold of that business model with both hands.

So forgive me if my online presence has a DIY appearance.  You can’t judge a book by its cover- you know what I mean?
If you want to align yourself with a ‘leader ‘who just met Mike Dillard or Ann Sieg a year or two ago and has themselves a nice shiny look – who has learned to say all the right things.  In other words – is a ‘wanna be’. Then go right ahead. I cant stop you.

Or… you can have actual faith that what I tell you is true.
I’ve been at this game since 2001.
I’m no wanna be. Don’t let my DIY appearance fool ya.

I can boil my message down to one line -
Learn internet marketing and communication /phone skills and you will be unusually successful.

He was lucky enough to be mentored by two individuals who had both made millions in the industry before they were 25. Pete was teachable and coachable and went on to not only build the most stable organization in his company, he is now a corporate trainer who travels the country to work with and support the growing numbers of “ViSalians” working to promote the Nationwide Launch of the Body by Vi Challenge.

Pete attributes the stability of his organization to the level of integrity he runs his business by, and the development of leaders in his organization. Your first step to success in Network Marketing is to be coachable and teachable. You must be willing to follow the proven system that is laid out by your company.  If others have gone before you and used a certain proven system to be successful – then by all means become an excellent mimic!  I think far to often people get involved with a company and only see the parts they want to see. They don’t hear, or choose not to hear the ‘how’ they will be actually making money.  Then when the simple system is laid out for them… they balk, stall, don’t work or change the system to ‘suit them’ and find that ‘Network Marketing doesnt work”…

When I got started in this industry almost 10 years ago, there was a simple system to follow that produced results. Surprisingly, that system has not really changed much! Most Network Marketing companies have a simple process in place that new distributors can follow straight away and make money. The more contacts, the more money- right?
You are given a script to follow to take your prospect through a few simple steps:
#1 Prospect listens to a 3 minute sizzle call to qualify their interest.
#2 Give the interested prospect your website to review
#3 Prospect gets a  full business overview live on the phone/ a webinar or a recorded video
#4 Get the upline on the phone to answer questions.
#5 Collect a decision – make a sale!

This hasn’t changed much in 10 years – except that we have far more sophisticated websites/autoresponders/ways the prospect can get the overview.  And guess what? It still works! All across the nation, people are taking their prospects through that simple duplicatable system, outlined by a script… and they are making sales!

So if you are in a Network Marketing company with a simple duplicatable system like this, and you are not making sales… you must ask yourself if you are indeed teachable and coachable. Are you following the instructions given by your mentor?  If not, perhaps you need to put on your ‘student of the industry’ cap and get rid of the ego thats in the way of you and your commission check!

“But I don’t want to build my business that way… I want to do it MY way…”
Is YOUR way working?
Then try doing what the millionaires in your company are doing… just try it… do it till you are good at it. See what happens.
Its got to be better than what you have going on now, right?

Follow the simple system given to you by your Network Marketing company and master the basics until you can do them without thinking – and until you are sponsoring easily. Become a recruiting machine – a master recruiter if you will. Stuff your sales funnel with qualified prospects, let the system sort them – and collect the checks at the other end.

That’s Network Marketing Success, right?  No… its not.  That’s success in Direct Sales.  You still have a ways to go to be successful.

Next, you need to teach your new people to follow the same, simple system. This is how we achieve duplication in Network Marketing.  Its how you achieve true leverage. you know, the efforts of 1% of 100 people verses 100% of your own efforts?  This is how you get those bonus overrides – the money earned when others in your business earn a check.  When you have a happy little army going out and making sales so you can earn those bonuses – THEN you have achieved success in Network Marketing …. RIGHT? WRONG!

True success in Network Marketing is when you have true residual income. You know, what they call ‘walk away’ income where your business pays you month after month whether you work it or not.  The Residual Income Dream that lures us all into this industry.  That, my friend, is the Holy Grail of MLM.  So… how can we reach this level of success?

The attainment of true residual income can only happen as you develop leaders in your organization.  The development of leadership is how you have a large, stable, growing organization without the mass attrition that is so common in Network Marketing. You must develop leadership in yourself, and then you must ‘pour into’ the people who are in your business who want to become leaders themselves.  You are already enjoying the fruits of your labor as people duplicate in your business – now  you must GIVE BACK to the people in your group.   Invest your time and energy making sure that those who are asking for your guidance get it. Make sure they are empowered by the education you give them.

When you have an organization held together with integrity and strong with true leaders  – you have achieved true success in Network Marketing.

To summarize
#1 Humble your self to be coachable and teachable and follow the simple system outlined by your company. Do not deviate or re-create the wheel…
#2 Teach those you bring on board to follow the exact same system to achieve duplication
#3 Develop leadership in yourself, and then empower leaders in your organization. Raise them up to stand on their own.
#4 With a team of leaders… you have succeeded!

Some people can do this all very quickly.  They have a ‘nothing to lose’ mentality and just go take all out massive action.  They have success right out of the gate, while others stand in awe.
Others take years to have success.  Perhaps their belief, faith or even need is not as great as the person who is on fire from the start.

Which are you?

I suggest you start right now as if this was day 1 in your journey to success in Network Marketing. Get your gift of faith out – know that if you follow the simple system that it will result in sales. Take all out massive action and make some crazy cash, and teach others to do the same.  Seek a mentor that can help you develop your leadership abilities… and claim the Residual Income Dream for yourself!

What I’m about to share with you isn’t normal.

(In fact, it’s weird and kind of embarrassing.)

But luckily I got permission to tell you this story

of sharing his valuable secrets.

You probably watched him beside his shiny Escalade
(actually 2 Escalades, one for him, one for his wife)…

Clowning around with his healthy little children…

And keeping his lovely bride company as they enjoy
a level of time & lifestyle freedom that’s so enviable!

Trips to exotic islands, second homes in sunny places,
sailing trips, weekly dates, over 14 weeks of vacation
last year, (and like I mentioned yesterday a 6-figure
payday for leading tipping-point projects like this.)

But There’s A Back Story Before All
That Good Stuff – And It Isn’t Pretty!

He told me I could tell it to you today.

When he first joined the home business industry
he bought expensive leads and spent 10 hours a
day on the phone. No sales and lot of stress.

His business was not only unprofitable…

IT WAS DOWNRIGHT EMBARRASSING!

It got so bad that friends started buying his
family groceries because they felt sorry for
his underprivileged children.

He chugged 3 cans of the cheapest beer money could
buy every night to try to medicate the pain away.

One night (he actually told me I could share this)
he drank himself to tears and laid on the floor
of his living room and cried himself to sleep
because he felt his life was so stressful.

To save money on baby formula, he and his wife
concocted a disgusting substitute that consisted
of Kyro syrup and canned milk.

The Doctor Sternly Scolded
Them For Being So Cheap!

He was humiliated.

Finally, out of desperation, he did the unthinkable.

(And here’s where the story gets a little weird.)

He decided he wouldn’t eat anything for 7 days!

Nothing.

Just water.

“It wasn’t a religious fast, I had heard about people
gaining mental clarity if they simply stopped eating
for a while… and I was willing to try anything at
that point in time” he sheepishly admitted to me.

Then he said:

“Ann, on day 5 of the fast I had an idea suddenly pop
into my head. In my mind I saw myself communicating
to every one of my prospects through online video.
I pictured myself completely off the telephone.

I imagined myself educating, influencing, and
making profits because of these online videos.

I Imagined Commission Emails
Flooding My Inbox 24 Hours A Day

Day 5 of that fast changed my life – literally!

I knew nothing about online video at the time.

Nothing.

I just knew it was going to be the key to getting
my time-freedom back and putting money in my pocket.

In fact, I went to my computer and printed out
a picture of the Visa, MasterCard, and Discover
logos and pinned them onto my bulletin board.

Then I took out a pen and wrote:

‘I Allow Money To Flow Into My Bank
Account 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week’
————————————————

Even though I was running my business from a
little kitchen table with screaming kids in
the background and no realistic reason to
think that things would get any better.

I began to tear out pictures of fancy office
furniture and wrote underneath them, ‘I allow
myself to have a sleek, hi-tech office that
demonstrates prosperity in every corner.’

As he was telling me this story, he pointed
out with a deep sense of wonder how all the
pieces miraculously came together for him.

He told me about the struggles he and his
wife experienced when he racked up obscene
amounts of credit card debt with absolutely
no sign that his business was going to work.

He told me about how he would participate in
month-long “research projects” at a medical
center where they would give him generic
drugs and monitor the effects it had
on his bloodstream…

All So He Could Make A Little
Extra Money To Keep Going!
————————————————

(He even showed me the permanent needle marks
on his hands from hundreds of “blood draws”)

He told me about how people in his family
thought he was going crazy because he wasn’t
taking good care of his wife and children like
he was supposed to.

Believe it or not, he even had one pastor send
send him an email saying: “All you’re trying to
do is take advantage of gullible old people with
this business opportunity thing of yours.”

He also told me about how his weight ballooned
out of control and how he couldn’t sleep well
at night because he constantly kept his jaw
clenched from the pressure and stress.

He confessed to buying his clothes at Wal-Mart.

One day he was playing basketball with some
teenagers and they teased him because his
shoes were so cheap. They didn’t know…

The $24 He Spent To Get Them Was A
Purchase He Talked Over With His Wife!

However, like I hinted at earlier…

Things are much, MUCH different for him today!

He’s writing a couple books that are bound to
become best-sellers.

He has two different colognes set to release
later this year.

And if that wasn’t enough, he’s overseeing a
fashion designer creating what he fondly refers
to as “the earth’s most perfect pair of underwear.”

Anyways, here’s the bottom line

I couldn’t imagine a more emphatic person leading
the charge with this new project because he’s been
on both sides of the spectrum.

He remembers the intense fear, stress, and nerves
of getting started online like it was yesterday.

But he discovered how to overcome these challenges
and thrive even in today’s gutter-ball economy.

Which means…

Because of this, we’re told that the only way to cut through all the noise and get people’s attention is through personal, pre-existing relationships.

An individual is actually able to get much better market penetration with their “circle of influence” than a big company with a huge advertising budget because “people buy from those they know, like and trust.”

Right?

Now, at face value, this seems to make really good sense.

But if you’ve made even the smallest attempt at expanding your business through your warm market, you know that something’s not quite right with this picture.

Were you greeted with open arms by every friend, family member, coworker, referral and
acquaintance you’ve ever tried to prospect?

Did they happily whip out their checkbook and immediately buy from you because they know you or because you’re a friend of a friend?

Probably not.

In fact, you’re probably more familiar with the experience of being avoided or shunned by people the moment they found out what your real motives for talking with them were.

So much for “cutting through all the noise” right?

So why doesn’t it all play out perfectly the way it should? Why the big disconnect between theory and reality?

It’s because…

Direct Selling, Regardless Of Whether
Or Not You Already Know Someone, Is
Still A Form Of Interruption Marketing

You’re still intruding on people’s lives with the one thing people hate almost more than anything else: An unwanted sales pitch.

Sure, you’ll be able to get your foot in the door because they know who you are… but it doesn’t matter if you’re their best friend or a total stranger, once you hit them up with a sales pitch, all of that goes out the window!

You’ve just placed yourself in the same category as all the other solicitors they ignore! It completely voids the fact that you have any kind of relationship with them.

Any trust between the two of you has been damaged because people don’t like being taken advantage of. And that’s how they feel when you assume that they’ll automatically give you their money just by virtue of the fact that you know them.

Especially if you’ve used some sneaky, bait-and-switch “I just want you to evaluate what I’m doing” or “I can’t explain it, you’ve just gotta come and see it for yourself” tactic that many uplines teach and employ.

(Deep down inside we all know this instinctively because that’s not how we would want to be treated. That’s why it just doesn’t feel right when we push our stuff on people.)

More importantly…

Any Pre-Existing Relationship You Have With
Anyone Is Completely Meaningless If They
Don’t Already Want What You’re Selling

This is the most important and fundamental rule of marketing and it’s prerequisite to everything else.

If you’re not abiding by this rule, NO form of advertising is going to work.

In fact, person-to-person is actually the worst form of advertising for practicing this sort of “interruption marketing” because with something like television or a magazine ad, your prospect can simply change channels or turn the page if they’re not interested. No big deal.

But nothing is more uncomfortable than having to turn someone down who won’t take “no” for an answer. Especially when you’re trying to be careful and polite about it because that someone is your friend.

It’s also a lot harder and more wearing on you because you personally have to deal with the rejection over and over again (another thing that we humans don’t do well with), as opposed to an ad that couldn’t care less.

While the whole point of direct selling is supposed to be to allow you to breakthrough all the other advertising clutter, there’s actually a much better and more natural way to accomplish this.

Effectively getting someone to listen to you has nothing to do with communicating at a one-to-one level.

It’s all about whether or not you’re tapping into a need or desire that already exists.

If you’re not offering them something that they’re already highly interested in, you’re not going to be able to hold their attention and you’re certainly not going to get them to take action.

The REAL KEY to getting and keeping your prospect’s undivided attention is to deliver laser-targeted messages to them at the exact moment that they’re looking for answers.

Good Marketing Is About Delivering The Right
Message, To The Right Person, At The Right Time.

This is how you stand out from the crowd and the internet allows you to do this like no other advertising medium in history because what are people doing when they go on the internet?

Searching for information!

This is the exact state of mind you need someone to be in in order for them to be receptive to your offer – not when they’re having dinner or out grocery shopping.

The very nature of the internet is that people go on it to look for answers. It’s like a giant virtual yellow pages, except infinitely better and more powerful (in ways that I’ll talk about more in future emails).

It’s THE perfect pool of prospects – warmer and more receptive than any “warm” market.

Which brings us to the next point…

#2. “One-to-one marketing is the only way “the little guy” can compete with the big companies and build a business today.”

We would all love to advertise and have business come to us if we could right?

However, we’re told that the average person just can’t afford to do normal advertising like “the big boys” can and one-to-one, word of mouth marketing is really the only option available to us small home based business owners who don’t have a lot of money to start with.

Now, 20 years ago when everything was offline this *MIGHT* have been true…

But today with the internet, this argument is simply outdated and no longer valid.

Reaching mass audiences of hundreds of thousands of people with an advertising campaign in the offline world can cost as much as a small house.

With The Internet, These Same Numbers And Results
Can Be Achieved For Nothing Or Next To Nothing

Let me give you some examples…

• To take out a full page ad in The Washington Post, which has over 2.4 million readers, you will need to fork over a hefty $100,000.
  On the other hand, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which has a circulation of about 370,000 readers, will only cost you $15,000.

  * A typical full page ad in most magazines will cost you anywhere from $20-40 CPM. This means ‘Cost Per Thousand’ – the cost per thousand viewers or readers. So if you want your ad to be seen by roughly 100,000 people, it may cost anywhere from
  $2-4,000.

• * Depending on the type of postage you use and a few other things like printing, paper, mailing list rental and lettershopping, having your offer sent to 100,000 people through direct mail can be in the neighborhood of $50,000 or more.
  * With production costs and air time, a 28 minute infomercial can easily run you up a good $200,000.

Now, compare this with similar methods on the internet:

Reach: Sky’s the limit. Just now as I’m writing this email I went and looked up some videos about how to start a home based business and found a bunch that have gotten
54,542 views… 34,197 views… 74,907 views… 12,959 views… etc. All of them were done by individuals in their home. None of them were done by big corporations.

Article Marketing
Cost: Free if done manually, or for less than $200 you can have a good professional service do it for you for an entire year.

Reach: Hundreds of websites with thousands of regular visitors pick up your articles and distribute them.

Reach: Thousands to millions depending on the search terms you’re targeting.

Ezine Advertising
An “ezine” is an online newsletter and when you advertise with one, your offer gets emailed to the entire list of subscribers. This is one of the most effective methods for targeting huge crowds of people who are interested in your offer. There are
hundreds of home based business/network marketing ezines you can advertise with, but here are just a few examples that I found in about 10 minutes of looking through an ezine directory:
-$150 to have your ad sent to 470,000 subscribers
-$135 to have your ad sent to 280,000 subscribers
-$99 to have your ad sent to 100,000 subscribers
-$50 to have your ad sent to 37,000 subscribers
-$35 to have your ad sent to 20,000 subscribers

With the internet, anyone can advertise like the big companies, and in fact, in many cases, the “little guy” can do it a lot better.

Most Fortune 500 companies are just now starting to get up to speed on strategies and techniques that were being talked about and used with tremendous success 5-10 years ago by pioneering individuals and small home based business owners.

This may sound surprising, but did you know that during the 21st Century, 90% of the most significant breakthroughs and discoveries in science and business came from small businesses?

Why?

Because it’s very difficult for large, slow-moving, bureaucratic corporations to adapt and change.

The Fortune 500s and the Inc 500s – just like the vast majority of MLM companies – failed to adapt to the internet and are now playing catch up. (Actually, they failed to allow their
DISTRIBUTORS to adapt to the internet).

Is it really any surprise that the warm/cold market approach has become outdated?

After all, network marketing was first conceived of well over 50 years ago.

Things change. Techniques change. That’s okay.

This does NOT mean that MLM itself is outdated, just the methods that people are being taught to use. It’s more powerful now than ever, when combined with effective marketing strategies.

One more thing about this idea that home based business owners can’t advertise like the big companies can…

Notice how I said that “20 years ago when everything was offline this *MIGHT* have been
true…?”

Well, the reason I say “might” is because if you advertise like MOST distributors do, this statement is true.

You WILL lose money. Every time.

When Done Wrong, Any Kind Of Marketing
Is Expensive – Even Warm Market Prospecting
Which Is Supposed To Be Free

Most MLMers lose money because they don’t know WHAT to advertise (hint: it’s not your
opportunity).

However, when done correctly, all of your advertising expenses become a complete non-
issue.

Read that again.

WHEN DONE RIGHT…

COST IS IRRELEVANT.

Yes, even the most expensive kinds like direct mail.

#3. “Warm/cold market prospecting is duplicateable.”

This argument goes right along with the first one.

If we’ve already established that prospecting people who don’t care about our opportunity one at a time is NOT an effective form of marketing (and in some cases, one of the worst forms when done incorrectly), why would you want to duplicate it?

Of course the whole point is supposed to be that making a names list and calling those people is supposed to be something that absolutely ANYONE can do without needing any money, skills, or experience whatsoever (not true, by the way)…

But in reality:

2nd Rate Methods Lead To
2nd Rate Results

Many MLMers might look at this and ask (as I would have in the past), “but didn’t John Paul Getty say that he would rather have 1% of the efforts of a hundred men than 100% of his own?”

And he did. But what he left out of that famous saying is that in order for it to apply, that 1% has to at least amount to SOMETHING.

The fact is, the old school techniques of trying to sell to unqualified prospects usually yield zero or even negative results for most MLMers and only ends up in frustration and failure.

And this is all assuming that the warm/cold market approach really is duplicateable in the first place.

But this is hardly the case.

It’s too dependent on how big your warm market is… what kind of people it consists of… and how much influence you have with them.

The problem is, most of us are not positioned very well as someone who our family and friends would see as a good person to follow into a business venture.

And in either case – whether you’re trying to recruit in your warm or cold market – when you’re prospecting people who have expressed little or no interest in your product or opportunity, only the most tenacious and pitbull-like reps can achieve any kind of consistent, ongoing success. Usually those who have had lots of experience in previous
sales positions.

Does This Mean That One-To-One
Communication Is Completely Out?

Absolutely not.

It’s simply a matter of shifting and redefining your idea of how and when to use it.

It’s just as important today as it ever has been – WHEN used correctly, with the RIGHT people at the RIGHT time.

Developing one-to-one relationships with your top business builders and your best prospects is very important…

But it’s definitely not needed for ALL your prospects. This tedious grunt work of sifting and sorting can and should be automated.

Most people find that when they do this, they literally get TEN TIMES the results.

No exaggeration. In fact that’s quite normal.

Here’s an example of just one such success story:

“I’ve Already Made Over $6,000 In
Commission Checks And I Have Attracted
Over 500 Prospects Who Came To Me”

“I’m a 22 year old Bulgarian and I came to this country about two and a half years ago. I came here to go to college and I’m pretty lucky because in my first few days of coming into this country I was introduced to the network marketing industry.

In the following  audio Jim Rohn explains how the Law of Sowing and Reaping is so very clearly played out in growing a Network Marketing Business.  It is the thorough understanding of how it works that enables us to discipline our disappointment and keep sowing, and ultimately succeed in Network Marketing.

In Mark 4:3-8, Jesus says:
There went out a sower to sow:
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

You, as a Network Marketer are the ambitious sower with excellent seed.  You have drive, determination and are ready to spread the word.   Your seed is good.  You have an excellent company, with an excellent product and you have been given just the right words to say.

But the facts are the facts, and we are told clearly how this world works in the parable above.  There are some things that are indeed, inevitable.

#1 The birds are going to get some of the seed.
You can give the invitations, and even get confirmation that some guests will attend… but then they will not show.

Oh well! Some will, some wont, so what!

Don’t chase those birds,for if you do,  you will leave the field.  You aren’t sowing if you are chasing.  Chasing will distract from your future, not add.

Its better to just accept it as it is… for you were told:  The birds will get some of your seed.

Now, if you keep on sowing, you will eventually plant enough that the birds cannot eat it all, and you will get sign ups into your business. Unfortunately…

#2 The seed falls on rocky ground where the soil was shallow. On the first hot day it withers and dies.

Those wonderful signups who seem so gung-ho? Some are going to drop just as soon as the excitement wears off.  The hot weather is gonna get some – this is not of your making.

Some don’t stay.  Attrition is real. Sure, there are things you can do to make sure your people have everything they need to stick if they are going to… but some wont no matter what you do!

You cant solve this. You can only cooperate with things the way they are…

And keep on sowing! You need to discipline your own disappointment and keep on prospecting and showing the plan.

You will sign up more people, and make more money,  as long as you continue to sow.  You will enroll more people and you will find that…

#3The seed falls on thorny ground.  The plant starts to grow again, but the thorns choke it and it dies.

Some of your new people will let cares and distractions choke their business. The unfortunate fact is that people will let little things cheat them out of big opportunities.
They wont listen to the conference calls, won’t make it to the local training events.  They’ll let ‘real life’ as they see it get in the way of their dreams.  They wont make the dream money either… and then they will choke, and fall away.

Its just the way it is…

The good news?

The sower keeps on sowing, and

#4 some of the seed will fall on fertile ground and will spring up and grow.

As long as you keep on sharing the story, keep on giving the invitation – finally the seed falls on good ground.

The fact is, it always will, if you keep sowing.

This is the way the world was made.

Dont try to figure out WHY, just work with it!

Now the last piece of this is that the people you enroll will work their business with differing intensities.  You cannot change them, and should not push them.

The parable says that some will work at 30%, some at 60% and some at 100%.  You can never expect a 30%er to do the work of a 100%er.  Instead, you must acknowledge and water the sprouts of the 30%ers… and keep on sowing!

A beautiful effect of your continuing to sow?  Your skill level will inevitably increase.  You have be be bad before you are good and good before you are great.  So initially, you may find that you aren’t very good at inviting… but you totally make up in numbers what you lack in skill! And the act of running the numbers will result in your getting better at prospecting and closing.

In short – get to work sowing, and don’t quit! Just understand the way the world works, and roll with it!
