You’ve read the hype over and over again…

“Enroll Hundreds Of Reps Without Ever Speaking to Anyone”
…and similar phrases of nonsense.

That kind of marketing would lead you to believe that if you just get really good at internet marketing and use it to market your MLM, that you’ll make huge money in your company.

I hate to bust your bubble… actually, no, I’d LOVE to bust your bubble and tell you that is complete nonsense!

Network Marketing is, and always will be an income model that is based on relationship marketing. Those impressive checks from the top earners are earned because they developed leaders in their organizations. They didn’t just mass enroll and see what STUCK. They took the time to invest in those people who would take ownership of their business and work the system in place by the company.

Mass attrition? You will see that if you just enroll people on autopilot and never actually act as their sponsor.  Sponsorship comes with a responsibility to the person who joined your organization. You MUST direct them to the training in place, you must role play with them and make sure they are following the simple, duplicateable system in place by your company.

Enroll hundreds of people and make a ton of cash? What, off of a one time fast start bonus for signing them? What a waste! You will make far more money when you help your recruits to earn a check for themselves. When they continue to work to maintain that check, and to grow it – you finally have leverage.

Have you ever heard this phrase from a Internet MLMer?
“I don’t want to babysit a downline”

If you are properly sponsoring quality people, you will have an organization of incredibly powerful, motivated individuals who you want to spend your time with. They are your TEAM – your greatest asset.

I truly think that those who say they don’t want to babysit are those who don’t want to take the time to develop themselves as a leader. You see, it takes a leader to help develop a leader.

Message to heartless Internet MLMers:

If you are mass- sponsoring into a Network Marketing company with online hype and then just leaving your recruits to some automated training.
If you don’t give your recruits an ounce of your precious time… please just leave MLM alone.

Stop using your internet marketing skills to give our industry a bad name. Every time you enroll someone and let them die on the vine, you just took one more wonderful potential builder from our pool of prospects.

If you have fallen prey to this type of recruiting – but you still have faith in the residual income dream, then find a true MLM leader who will paint a realistic expectation of what it takes to build your business to true walkaway residual income.  This industry is alive and well and producing walkaway residual income for leaders every day. In fact, our MLM company produces a new six figure earner every 36 hours…

What I’m about to tell you may seem like an incredible contradiction.
I don’t work my business for recognition or fame – but simply for fortune.

I unapologetically intend to have an incredibly wealthy family – Indeed, it’s what I know we deserve.

Contradictory to what you ‘see’?
It just so happens that in the industry I have chosen to master – Online Network Marketing -  being in the public eye and being ‘famous’ is how that fortune is made.

I have learned to master what has now been coined as ‘Attraction Marketing’ and at this point you’ll literally find me everywhere.

Its almost silly what happens when you Google my name. Silly cause, well, I’m just Melanie.  I have managed to have not just a successful business online – but to have a significant impact on the lives of those I teach.  Nothing incredible about it really… I just follow simple laws.  Laws I am continuing to learn and apply – that work every time.

What you don’t know, is that I’d just as soon crawl under a rock ~ just make it a GOLDEN rock!

In other words, I’d be thrilled to have the fortune NOW, and to pull back into my golden shell with my beautiful family to live the life I know we are destined to live.  If there wasn’t one single Google result with my name, I’d be thrilled! Just as long as I had my sacks of gold…

There is an unseen aspect to Network Marketing Success that you must tap into if you wish to truly reach the next level. In fact, it is the one thing that will help you get to the next level – to enable you to qualify for that next rank in your compensation plan.

Its easier to explain exactly how it has played out in my business over & over again than to try to describe it outright first.

Example #1 When I enrolled in ViSalus last year, I declared that I would be a Director in my first week working the business.  I went to work and immediately enrolled the 2 people who had been waiting to hear back if ViSalus was all it appeared to be.  With 2 enrolled needed just 1 more new business partner to hit Director.  I had no real idea of who my hot prospects were and just days to qualify.  I sent an email to my list and expected a massive response, but did not get it… and on the last day of the week, in the last hours to qualify, someone I had not spoken to in 3 years connected with me on Facebook. As you may have guessed – this gentleman trusted me when I told him this was IT, and he was my 3rd enrollment.

I had declared I’d be Director that week – having no idea how I would accomplish it – and the universe conspired to make it so.

Example #2 Flash forward 4 months and ViSalus threw out a $1000 bonus for those who qualified for Regional Director in the month of October.
Well, throw me a bonus like that and I simply MUST qualify.
Now, I worked all month to get that qualification done… but as the last days of the month came I felt tapped out – I had not another good prospect to call, not another good email blast to send.

It was 11:00pm on October 31st, on Halloween, and I had not yet qualified.

A lead came through – and the area code was from California, so I figured what the heck – I’d call since it was only 9pm his time.  The gentleman on the other line seemed like a lookey-loo, like a tire kicker, but I was patient and asked him a few key questions.   Turned out he had over 100lbs to lose… and I had him signed up for an ESS less than 10 minutes later!

And I was BMW qualified – with minutes to spare.

Example #3 Flash forward to February 2009 -
ViSalus throws out another bonus offer of $1000 on stage for BMW qualifiers – and I decide to run my husband’s position to Regional and BMW qualified.
I texted my intention to my mentor Pete Bunting ~ and went to work.
Now, that second position was no where NEAR qualified, and I had like no one at all even close to Director to help. I was starting virtually from scratch.  But I set the goal, I declared my intention – and I knew it would be DONE.

I honestly don’t even remember the last events that got that position qualified. I worked harder than I ever had in my life. I pushed past my own boundaries and helped people accomplish their goals in order to get it DONE. We had 5 people hit Rising Star Director that month and they were all in Denver to celebrate. It was wonderful!

And yes, you’d better believe that I qualified that second position -

Does it stop there? No way!

I’ve re-qualified for Regional Director status with a random online customer coming through with a $200 order at 11pm on the last day of the month. I’ve qualified for the “pool bonus” more times than most others in the company – simply because I KNOW I WILL and work as if its already done.

Example #4 In June of 2010 one of my primary support upline, Bonzi, was running for Presidential Director.  It was 10pm and he needed like $2000 in volume by midnight to get it done and he was totally tapped out.  The leaders of the team made calls to downline asking them to dig deep and find just one customer to help Bonzi qualify – and $1200 in volume came through in just 1 hour.  And then, when it seemed like there was no more to be found, my phone rang with a call from Missouri.  The woman on the other line was calling to enroll – with the $999 package!  The magic had happened yet again. Bonzi was qualified for PD!

So what exactly is this unseen aspect- what is going on in my business that when I declare a goal as met, and go to work as if it is already done, that it is unquestioningly accomplished?  Is it the Law of Attraction?  Am I just lucky? Only if you know that the harder you work, the luckier you get.

Its true that the wise man’s prayer is one of thanks for that is yet to come. To believe that those things not yet seen will come to be is crucial. You must believe that your goal is already met and the take the necessary action that will result in that goal becoming a reality.

The Law of Attraction requires that you not only expect it to happen – but that you work to make it so.  A vision board becomes a pipe dream if you sit on your buns in front of the TV.

In each of the examples I gave above, what you cannot know is that in my own mind & heart I held on to the belief that I would reach my goal – right up until it was accomplished. There was never a point where I let doubt creep into my mind.  Like a child who knows Santa will bring her gifts, I knew that my gifts would arrive. I knew that my prayer of thanks was already answered.  And in each of the examples given above, I WORKED right up until the last minute, talking with people, enrolling them and doing the tasks that move my business forward.

I didn’t sit and visualize ~ I worked.

Right now you may need to borrow my belief.  If you haven’t yet made the money you want to make in Network Marketing, you may not even have it in your heart to KNOW that enrollments do come – that people do duplicate – and that freedom is at hand.  You may need to borrow my belief.

You need to know in your heart of hearts that you will achieve what you set your mind to.

Faith is a spiritual gifting that is present in the Entrepreneur. It is obedience to a calling, risk taking in response to a vision – a believing wholeheartedly in the unseen. You have been called to greatness ~ it is time to step out in faith ~ Melanie Milletics

Open your heart and mind to the reality that you deserve to have things happen in this manner for you.  You are deserving of all the wonderful things this world has to offer.  In fact, they were created for you, by the same One who created you.  Follow the instructions of your mentors and walk in faith, doing the tasks laid out by those who have gone before you to be successful.
